Our beautiful Bed and Breakfast is absolute lake edge and is built to enjoy extensive northern lake views and take full advantage of all day sunshine.We are just a short drive out of Rotorua, far enough away to be both tranquil and sulphur free and yet still within easy access to the host of attractions that Rotorua has to offer. There is a fine dining restaurant just a short stroll away along the lake edge.
Being lakeside, all rooms in our B&B have outstanding views over Lake Rotorua to Mokoia Island and beyond, it will seem that the lake belongs just to you. There is a lovely walk along the lake edge to a wet lands area.
The lake is very safe for swimming and for a closer look at the lake feel free to make use of our Perception kayaks, buoyancy aids are provided. Relaxation is easy at The Lake House, lie on sun loungers in our beautiful garden or relax and unwind all year round in our our luxurious, purpose built spa room . Rotorua has 2 flights a week from Sydney on Saturdays and Tuesdays. During summer 2013 there will also be a Thursday flight. By arrangement, we are happy to pick up and drop off from Rotorua airport which is less than a five minute drive away.

There is a bus into town with pick up and drop off just outside the house.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast as you chat to your hosts. Begin with a choice of teas, coffee, fresh fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt and fruit while Carol prepares your hot dish of the day which is tailored to meet individual dietry requirements and preferences. Then, if you are still up for it, toast or croissants with a selection of homemade preserves.
We use Fair Trade plunger coffee and only use free range eggs.
